This is a great app. It is simple to use, elegant, and works without fail. The periodic notifications are helpful for capturing mood throughout the day. I stopped logging with the app for several months, and when I restarted it was great to see my old tags still catalogued so I could learn from past insight. Because this is a paid app, I am less worried that my data is being shared or sold. Strongly recommended.
Very simple to use and very good to include in your daily routine. Im definitely using this more now.
This is a really painless way to log happiness. I am greatly enjoying the app. Now, my continued enjoyment hinges on my ability to export this data and analyze it , but I have not tried that yet.
Some bad moments
App crashed and lost all my data. This was over the last two weeks of data. I am extremely disappointed and discourage using this app unless you like seeing your weeks of recording disappear. Thanks for screwing up.
TL;DR: new UI pretty but less functional.
This "2.0" version of Happiness is pleasing to the eye. However, the Analysis capability is generally less capable than the old version. Also, the Analysis screen is somewhat confusing as it now encompasses three different screens that I can left/right drag to.
The "journal" feature is good but:
(1) let me distinguish between tags and free text on the journal entry.
(2) I should be able to edit a journal entry after the fact.
Overall I really like this app and find the stats useful. Id swear theres a bug making it alert multiple times per day though. I have more entries than days and its getting worse.
I find this app interesting. I dont really use the analytics, but I find myself more aware of how I feel. And thats neat.
I find this to be a very interesting app. If nothing else, its a good reminder to do some mindfulness meditation every day. The analytics are interesting, but with the limited data I have so far not terribly insightful yet (Ive been using the app for about a month now). Im curious to see what emerge as I continue to use the app.
This app only rates happiness on a scale from 1-10. What about the other moods? For an app that costs so much they should have added that in.
